The Community Health Council

The Community Health Council is an independent body which exists to act as the “patient’s friend” and offers advice and support to people who wish to complain about the NHS. Help may include:

·         Talking over the cause of the problem

·         Writing or speaking to people on your behalf

·         Accompanying you to meetings with health service staff to help resolve the problem
