1 Not all bus companies run services to James Paget Hospital. Timetables and routes should therefore be checked carefully before use.
2 Trains run regularly to Great Yarmouth Train Station from surrounding towns and cities. Normal rail fares will be charged, however concessionary railcards are available to young, elderly, disabled people and families. For further information see relevant train timetables.
3 Patients who have to pay for transport to hospital and who get Income Support or are on a low income, can receive help with their travelling expenses. Full details are in a leaflet (H11) NHS Travel Costs, which is available at hospitals and local offices of the Department of Social Security
