Clinical Resource Centre and Library

JANUARY 2004

Happy New Year to all our readers. I'd like to use this opportunity to advertise yet again the services of Andy Parrett who is our Library Skills Training Officer. Andy runs a regular training session on how to use effectively databases such as Medline and Cinahl and through them how to access full text journals from your computers either at home or in the workplace. Give him a ring on 01284 713343 - he can run his training either in the Library's computer suite or in your workplace. Don't forget that the Cochrane Library which gives you access to the evidence base of healthcare is available free of charge on http://www.nelh.nhs.uk. Brochures on how to use these systems are available from the library. Just ring us on 01284 713112.
