Training Practices in West Suffolk

The training in each practice is determined by the Trainer and Registrar together.

There will be an initial period of orientation and observation before the Registrar starts to see patients on his/her own.

There are normally two one hour tutorials each week, and opportunity each day to discuss patients seen by the Registrar.

All practices encourage the use of video-taping of consultations as an excellent way of improving consulting skills.

The training practices involved are listed below. The majority of these practices are members of the Suffolk Doctors On-call Co-op.  One or two practices have their own internal on-call rota, and some doctors in two other training practices do their own on-call. (Follow links, where provided, for more information.)
