Fire Safety

Fire safety is included in the Trust's induction programme, so all members of staff should have been informed about what to do upon hearing the fire alarm or detecting a fire.  It is, however, important to have a refresher course in fire safety once a year as it is vital to be up-to-date with such an important issue.  Fire lectures are given by Terry Owens in the Education Centre on a regular basis.  You do not have to book onto them, just turn up.  There is a notice in the Green Sheet every week detailing where and when these lectures take place.  If you would like to arrange a departmental fire briefing for your staff, call Terry Owens on ext. 3468.
