What we do:

All of the hospital's linen (bed sheets, pillow cases, blankets, night-gowns, etc.) is sent off to a laundry in Leicester to be processed.  Everyday a new delivery arrives, and a dirty load goes back.  When the new delivery comes in, the laundry staff load trolleys with the clean linen, ready to go to the wards and departments.  All dirty linen is brought to the department by the porters.  It is then bagged up by the staff, ready to go back to Leicester.
